Golang Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Golang Software Engineer to join new Ring’s team that will develop a new service for Ring customers. You will be one of the key team members in Kyiv and thus should demonstrate hands-on experience and solid knowledge of Golang. Most importantly you should have a good understanding of how to build apps from scratch that are running at a large and growing scale and be well versed in using systems that are made up of many different components working tightly together.


The ideal candidate would be an experienced developer eager to learn and grow their skills in cutting-edge technologies and had a desire to work in fast-growing teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design software architecture
  • Develop features end-to-end from MVP phase to live production
  • Build web app in Golang and establish leadership in Golang technology
  • Apply CI/CD tools for optimal productivity   

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years of Golang development experience
  • 5+ years of relevant backend development experience
  • Understanding of microservice architecture
  • Thorough understanding of NoSQL databases
  • Experience with DynamoDB would be a plus
  • Experience with AWS, Docker
  • Excellent understanding of how to build fast-growing apps from scratch
  • Good written and spoken English
